The Art of Storytelling
Founded in 2012, A Mad Monk Style is the manifestation of a lifelong artistic journey—one that began with drawing airplanes in grade 7 leading to the study of 15th-century Flemish art, evolving into expressive art of handcrafted jewelry.
I grew up in Toronto, now based in Berlin, my path led me through Europe’s most significant art centers, where I learned the traditions of classical painting. A chance encounter lead me to carving in wax, casting my first ring…immediately metal became my new canvas, jewelry my passion.
Each design begins as a pencil sketch, focusing on form and feeling. My works are cast in Rome, Italy, and Vilsbiburg, Germany, at the highest levels of craftsmanship and authenticity.
